                    Dry needling is the treatment in which very fine filiform needles are inserted in the tissues. It causes local effect by creating inflammatory healing response within the tissue that is needled along with systemic response. It causes cascade of neurochemicals to be produced that stimulates body's ability to produce extremely strong natural opioids that help manage pain. In this patient dry needling was done in the patient who had post surgical pain following coronary bypass surgery.
